Job summary

Monte Rosa Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Compound Manager to join the Compound Management Team. You will support storage, retrieval and distribution of compounds, prepare plates with a robotic system, and track transfer steps via software, ensuring accuracy and safety in the lab.

The role requires hands-on experience in sample management, LIMS use, and a BSc/MSc in Chemistry or related field, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

3+ years of applicable experience within Chemistry laboratory setting.
Hands-on experience in Sample Management, with a good understanding of relevant processes and workflows.
Experience with LIMS and laboratory automation.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
BSc/MSc degree in Chemistry or in a related scientific discipline is preferred; experienced Chemielaborant with relevant laboratory experience will also be considered.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in laboratory work and documentation.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Provide Compound Management support for storage, retrieval and distribution of compounds
Manually produce solutions from milligram amounts of neat compounds
Prepare compound plates using a robotic system
Track various transfer steps through the use of a software
Maintain lab and ensure equipment is clean and safe
