Job summary

Swissquote is seeking a Compliance Officer for a temporary role until 30 December 2026. You will join the Compliance Department and work within the Investigations Team to review key clients from an AML/CTF perspective and perform enhanced due diligence analyses.

You will also draft formal assessments, support front office, and contribute to policy updates while collaborating in a multicultural, tech-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Economics, International Relations, Political Science, or similar.
• 3–5 years of financial services compliance experience.
• Knowledge of the Swiss legal framework.
• Excellent command of English and French.
• Analytical and methodological approach.
• Structured and professional working style.
• Interest and experience in data analysis (including Excel) and PowerPoint.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong team player in multicultural, dynamic, tech-driven, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reviews of key clients from an AML/CTF standpoint (AMLA, AMLO-FINMA, CDB).
• Conduct enhanced due diligence analyses and declassifications.

• Assist the Manager in daily team operations and second-level reviews.
• Help develop and update internal compliance policies and procedures.
• Assist in optimizing internal processes and drafting internal guidelines.

Job Description

As a Compliance Officer for a temporary position until the 30th of December 2026, you will be part of the Compliance Department and work within the Investigations Team. The team is growing, and we are looking for different types of seniority profiles whose main tasks will be:

• Carrying out reviews of key clients (private clients, companies, institutional clients, external asset managers, introducing brokers, etc.) from an AML/CTF standpoint (AMLA, AMLO-FINMA, CDB)


• Conducting enhanced due diligence analyses and declassifications


• Drafting formal compliance assessments, including the ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously


• Providing support and advice to the front office and management

Depending on the level of seniority, the following tasks may also be required:

• Assisting the Manager in supporting the team daily, including providing responses to questions, conducting second-level reviews of team members’ assessments, and serving as a trusted role model in terms of work quality, efficiency, and professional behavior


• Assist in developing and updating internal compliance policies and procedures in line with evolving regulations and industry best practices


• Optimization of internal processes, including the review and drafting of internal guidelines

• 3-5 years of financial services compliance experience
