Swissquote Bank is seeking a Compliance Officer to join the Investigations Team. You will manage complex investigations, draft and file MROS reports, and liaise with Swiss authorities.

The role involves validating transactions under investigation and improving internal processes while supporting front-line staff and senior management. The successful candidate has a law or economics background with at least five years in financial compliance, strong English and French, and a sharp analytical

Qualifikationen

• Graduated in Laws or in Economics; Certificate in Compliance Management is a strong asset.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Compliance Department in the financial industry (investigations and MROS reports is a strong asset).
• Knowledge of Swiss law.
• Excellent command of English and French; German, Russian, or Arabic would be a great asset.
• Analytical and methodological approach.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
• Very good writing and communication skills.
• Strong team player who thrives in multicultural, dynamic, technological and international environment.
• Proven experience in data analysis (R, Python, SQL, Tableau, Snowflake) would be a plus.

Aufgaben

• Manage complex investigations and conduct legal clarifications.
• Write and submit reports to Financial Intelligence Unit (MROS).
• Communicate with MROS as well as other Swiss law enforcement authorities.
• Support the team daily, including trading for junior profiles.
• Proof reading / validating MROS communications from juniors per bank delegation frame.
• Validating transactions of clients under investigation per bank delegation frame.
• Optimize internal processes, review and draft internal guidelines.
• Support and advise the Front line and Management.

Job Description

As a Compliance Officer, you will be part of the Compliance Department and work within the Investigations Team. The team is growing andwe are looking for different types of seniority profiles whose main tasks will be:

• Manage complex investigations and conduct legal clarifications
• Write and submit reports to Financial Intelligence Unit (MROS)
• Communication with MROS as well as other Swiss law enforcement authorities
• Support the team on a daily basis, including trading for junior profiles
• Proof Reading / validating MROS communication projects from junior team members in accordance with the bank’s delegation frame
• Validating transactions of clients under investigation in accordance with the bank’s delegation frame
• Optimization of internal processes, review and drafting of internal guidelines
• Support and advice to the Front line and Management
