Job summary

Huawei Switzerland is seeking a Compliance Assistant in Zürich to support contract reviews, risk assessments, and training initiatives across the organization. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify compliance risks and provide timely recommendations.

Key requirements include a law-related degree, advanced German and English, and solid knowledge of anti-bribery, competition, and trade compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Law or a related field; graduation date 2025/2026.
• Solid understanding of compliance risk management and risk assessment methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of anti-bribery and corruption, competition law, financial compliance, trade compliance, and third-party compliance management.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Swiss German and English at advanced level are mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance reviews of contractual terms and business arrangements, identify potential compliance risks, and provide professional review comments.
• Conduct compliance assessments for sales projects, identify potential risks related to bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, improper business conduct, and other significant compliance risks.
• Support compliance inspections and risk assessments, and assist in identifying control weaknesses and compliance gaps.
• Assist in developing compliance training materials, case studies, and compliance drill programs, and support the organization and delivery of compliance training and awareness programs.
• Assist in organizing responses to external inquiries and provide support for handling compliance incidents.
• Assist in maintaining compliance policies, procedures, and management documentation, support the organization of regular compliance meetings, and track follow-up actions and pending issues.
