Liebherr Machines Bulle SA in Bulle, Switzerland, is seeking a procurement professional to lead purchasing strategy for assigned product categories and to develop strong supplier relationships.

The role requires analyzing markets, identifying new suppliers, and managing risks while negotiating framework agreements. You will monitor performance indicators and continuously improve purchasing processes in a dynamic family-owned business.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in project purchasing or strategic procurement.
• Excellent command of English, French and/or German.
• Excellent command of MS Office, SharePoint and Infor.
• Strong team player with resilience, flexibility, and a high degree of reliability and autonomy.
• Well organized, able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under stress.

• Define and deploy the purchasing strategy for the assigned product categories.
• Analyze supplier markets, cost trends, and technological developments; maintain supplier and procurement risk mapping.
• Identify, assess, and select new suppliers based on technical, commercial, quality, and logistical requirements and build relationships.
• Anticipate risks related to capacity, supplier dependency, raw materials, and geopolitical developments.
• Negotiate and implement framework agreements and commercial contracts; challenge supplier requests for price increases.
• Ensure supplier commitments align with the company’s objectives.
• Monitor key portfolio performance indicators (costs, savings, quality, OTD, lead times, capacity, risks).
• Commit to continuously improving purchasing and supply chain processes.

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent and you have a solid technical understanding, complemented by additional training or qualifications in purchasing
• You have more than 3 years of experience in project purchasing or strategic procurement
• You have an excellent command of English, French and/or German
• You have an excellent command of MS Office, Share Point, and you are familiar with Infor
• You define yourself as a strong team player with resilience, flexibility, and a high degree of reliability and autonomy
• You are well organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working effectively in stressful situations
