Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Electronics, Software, Telecommunications engineering, Automation or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in R&D, Data Analytics, Automation, Industrial IT, or software engineering.
• Advanced technical knowledge in Data Analytics, Software Development, or Automation.
• Proven track record of successful project execution and technology implementation.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the technical expert on state-of-the-art digital and automation tools in coffee and build capability through train-the-trainer initiatives.
• Lead exploration and development of digital capabilities with IT, Zones, and partners to evolve the Digital & Automation roadmap.
• Oversee deployment and adoption of the roadmap across Zones and operations with technology transfer and sustainable implementation.
• Drive proofs of concept, assess improvements, and support scale-up of validated technologies.
• Establish and maintain digital/automation standards, aligning across Zones and sharing best practices.

A Day in the Life of a Coffee Automation Digital Engineer

• Serve as the technical expert on state of the art digital and automation tools and technologies used in coffee and build organisational capability through the train the trainer approach.
• Lead the exploration and development of digital capabilities in collaboration with IT, Zones, and technology partners to continuously evolve the Digital & Automation roadmap for coffee.
• Oversee the deployment and adoption of the Digital & Automation roadmap across Zones and operations, ensuring effective technology transfer and sustainable implementation.
• Drive and technically evaluate proofs of concept, assessing improvements and supporting the successful scale up of validated technologies.
• Establish and maintain digital and automation technology standards, ensuring alignment across Zones and promoting best practice sharing throughout the coffee manufacturing network.

What will make you successful

• Master’s degree in Electronics, Software, Telecommunications engineering, Automation or equivalent
• Extensive experience in R&D, Data Analytics, Automation, Industrial IT, or software engineering
• Advanced technical knowledge in Data Analytics, Software Development, or Automation
• Proven track record of successful project execution and technology implementation, with strong project and change management capabilities
• Experience leading cross-functional teams effectively with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in user-centered design and agile methodologies, with the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements is a strong plus
• Strong curiosity and passion for innovation with a hands‑on attitude
• Courage to challenge the status quo with a strong collaborative mindset
• Languages : Fluency in English, and other language considered a plus
