Job summary

Bachem Holding AG is seeking an Associate CMC Project Manager to coordinate R&D projects with cross-functional teams and ensure on-time delivery. The role focuses on ownership, communication, and process-driven project management in a GMP-regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree with industry experience in biopharma, CDMO, or chemical field.
• Customer-facing project management experience preferred.
• Exposure to GMP-regulated environment is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
• German language skills are an advantage (Bubendorf site).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage customer and internal R&D projects with cross-functional teams of 3–10 members.
• Ensure project deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and in line with customer agreements and contracts.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project-related questions, issues, and coordination activities.
• Drive ownership and accountability for all project deliverables across the project team.
• Structure, coordinate, and monitor project activities using established tools, systems, and processes.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, action lists, and project plans.
• Facilitate effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively identify risks, challenges, and mitigation measures to support project success.
• Support continuous process improvements and contribute to project management best practices.
• Develop towards a leading project management role with increasing responsibility.
