Job summary

Takeda is seeking a CMC Lead, Launch Product, Small Molecules in Zurich (Opfikon) to provide strategic and operational leadership for CMC execution and lifecycle management of a key launched product within Takeda’s small molecule portfolio. You will lead a global, matrixed team spanning Pharmaceutical Sciences, GSQ and manufacturing technology to ensure scientific excellence and optimal resource use.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in engineering or life sciences.
10–15 years experience in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing.
Experience operating globally in a matrixed organization.
Experience defining the strategy and roadmap for complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Strategic enterprise thinking and patient-centric mindset.
Creating an environment that inspires and enables people.

Responsibilities

Lead cross functional GSQ CMC team to support effective product development activities with Pharmaceutical Sciences Organization.
Develop robust life cycle management for Takeda’s key small molecule assets.
Represent CMC matters within Takeda’s Global Product Teams.
Provide leadership for initiatives spanning multiple products.
Accountable for scientific/CMC contents related to a SM asset and business impact to GSQ.
Resolve CMC issues across Pharmaceutical Sciences and GSQ as needed.
Align CMC development and LCm activities across MSAT and external sites.
