Job summary

Alpian Bank is building a cloud-native banking platform in Geneva/Lausanne, offering a hybrid work setup. You will help operate and scale the internal developer platform, automate delivery pipelines, and enforce a security-first mindset tuned to FINMA requirements.

Ideal candidates bring strong cloud, Kubernetes, and IaC skills, plus fluency in French and English, and a passion for applying AI tools to engineering workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience with at least one hyperscaler (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Kubernetes experience within production workloads.
• Proficiency in Terraform for IaC.
• Proficiency in Bash/Python/Go scripting.
• Strong system design capabilities.
• Interest in applying AI tools in daily engineering work.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve the Internal Developer Platform.
• Build automation to deliver safe and reliable software quickly.
• Apply a security-first approach aligned with FINMA requirements.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and own strategic work.
• Improve SRE practices around observability, alerts, and release processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation (compensated).
• Leverage AI tools to automate and accelerate engineering work.
• Keep the platform lean with high automation.
