Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Basel area seeks a Comparator Associate Project Manager to coordinate sourcing projects for comparator products. You will work with Sourcing Specialists and cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time delivery, quality compliance, and clear communication with customers.

As primary client contact, you will guide scope, prepare quotes, and track progress in internal systems. The role requires GMP/GxP knowledge, strong presentation skills, and proficiency with MS Office,

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in clinical trials, project management, logistics, or product sourcing.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education; commercial background accepted.
• English fluency required; additional languages beneficial.
• Project Management certification preferred.
• GMP/GxP knowledge and quality management systems experience.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with multiple complex projects.
• Advanced communication and presentation skills with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (Salesforce, GPMS, TrackWise).
• Demonstrated financial acumen and budget management capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with risk identification abilities.
• Self-directed yet able to collaborate in a matrix environment.
• Client-focused with solid relationship-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects for comparator sourcing and ensure timely delivery.
• Serve as main client contact from request to resolution.
• Prepare quotes and evaluate sourcing alternatives.
• Maintain project dashboards and lead status updates via teleconferences.
• Prepare documentation to hand over to Supply Chain and QA.
• Support other PMs and participate in customer/supplier meetings.
• Generate KPI reports and PowerPoint presentations for meetings.
