Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Clinical Support Specialist Orthopaedics for the Ticino area. This 50% Joint Reconstruction / 50% Sports Medicine role focuses on supporting orthopaedic surgeons, OR managers, and staff with high-quality, innovative products, while driving new business opportunities.

You will coordinate interventions, deliver product demonstrations and trainings, build long-term relationships, and optimize inventory and logistics to ensure efficient patient care

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in medical and surgical environment.
• Solid and comprehensive knowledge of surgery and orthopaedics.
• High flexibility and willingness to travel within your region.
• Fluent in Italian (mandatory), proficiency in English needed.
• Sound MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Advising your clients before, during and after procedures in the orthopaedics clinic (joint reconstruction & sports medicine).
• Logistical coordination of interventions.
• Deliver product demonstrations, customer training, workshops and in-service education for healthcare professionals.
• Build long-term customer relationships with physicians, operating room staff, and other decision-makers.
• Optimize inventory management and increase logistical efficiency

As a proven specialist with a strong sales mindset, you will serve as the key point of contact for orthopaedic surgeons, OR managers, and operating room staff in hospitals and clinics. In this central role, you will coordinate, organize, and ensure the correct application of our high-quality, innovative products. You will proactively identify new business opportunities, drive their execution, and manage corresponding sales projects within your assigned territory.

You will be responsible for:

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
