Tune Insight SA, located in Lausanne, Switzerland, seeks a Medical AI Data Engineer to join our on-site/hybrid team building secure data querying for federated medical datasets. You will design AI agents, develop an interoperable SQL generation pipeline, and implement data harmonization using OMOP and HL7 FHIR standards.

You’ll work across backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces to enable clinical researchers and data scientists.

Formación

• Hands-on experience building production RAG pipelines and agentic AI workflows applied to clinical data querying.
• Experience integrating a broad range of clinical ontologies and vocabularies into a query or data harmonization system (SNOMED CT, ATC, RxNorm, ICD-10, LOINC, OMOP).
• Strong Go development and API design, data pipeline construction.
• Production React interfaces for data-intensive applications.
• Strong SQL expertise and experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain AI agents using RAG and autonomous AI to enable researchers to query federated datasets via natural language.
• Build an interoperable query language to SQL generation pipeline with schema-awareness and validation for clinical data models.
• Implement and maintain data harmonization pipelines conforming to OMOP and HL7 FHIR to enable interoperability across institutions.
• Integrate medical ontology mappings (ICD-10, SNOMED CT, ATC, RxNorm) for semantic consistency in federated queries.
• Develop and maintain full-stack platform features from backend services and APIs to user-facing interfaces.
