Job summary

MSF OCG in Geneva seeks a Climate, Environment & Health Coordinator to lead strategic climate initiatives and integrate health impacts into operational planning. You will collaborate with Logistics, Medical, Communications and Operations teams to strengthen humanitarian responses.

Reporting to the Deputy General Director, the role focuses on reducing environmental footprint, aligning activities with environmental objectives, and improving overall operational effectiveness for MSF missions.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in environmental health, climate change, sustainability, or related field.
• Certification in carbon accounting is desirable.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic climate and environmental plans for OCG.
• Integrate climate risk and health impacts into operational planning.
• Promote environmental responsibility across MSF OCG activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives on climate and environment.
• Develop guidelines and tools to address climate risks.
• Monitor progress and oversee carbon accounting processes.
