Job summary

AMPS is seeking a Legal Negotiator to support the Legal Department in claim negotiations, appeals, and related documentation. The role liaises with internal teams and external stakeholders, applying strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills to achieve timely resolutions.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree and 2–5 years in legal or claims roles, with ERISA/ACA and No Surprises Act knowledge a plus. Swiss-based position with focus on compliant settlements and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 2–5 years in legal, paralegal, claims, or healthcare roles preferred.
• Experience in settlement negotiations, claims resolution, or appeals preferred.
• Knowledge of ERISA/ACA requirements and No Surprises Act is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review claim information and data to evaluate settlement strategies.
• Prepare, present, and negotiate settlement offers with clients and providers.
• Manage appeals through resolution adhering to procedures and regulations.
• Document negotiations and outcomes in internal systems accurately.
• Communicate status, timelines, and resolutions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify risks and escalate to Legal leadership as needed.
• Collaborate to improve templates, procedures, and best practices.
