ON is seeking a Head of Apparel Materials Development (Performance) to drive material excellence across premium apparel lines. You will guide concept development, curate material palettes, and manage from design brief to commercialization, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

You will lead sustainability efforts, onboard new material partners, and ensure alignment with the brand’s premium quality standards and global sourcing.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of global experience in apparel, material development, or related industry.
• Extensive knowledge of materials and trim, natural and synthetic fiber types, wovens, knits, finishes, insulation and print techniques.
• Strategic vision with awareness of industry trends and ON Running positioning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate globally.
• Global material sourcing experience and travel to hubs.

Aufgaben

• Guide, curate and develop a premium material palette aligned with design and performance identity.
• Manage material development from design brief to commercialization handoff with suppliers.
• Drive sustainability and onboard new materials and partners with sourcing.
• Oversee upfront material price and lead times with suppliers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Product Management, Development, Testing and Sales.
