Job summary

ICRC in Geneva seeks a Head of Learning and Development to shape and lead the organisation’s learning strategy, building capabilities to deliver the mission now and in the future. You will steer the L&D Unit within the People division and advise senior leaders on capability development.

You will lead a 65-person team across multiple locations, drive digital and AI-enabled learning, and partner with Global HRBP and métiers to strengthen leadership and critical capabilities while ensuring

Qualifications

Advanced degree in HR, OD, Education, or Business Administration.
12–15 years in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or Organizational Development.
Experience designing and implementing organization-wide learning and capability strategies.
Strong leadership of diverse teams.
Proven ability as a strategic advisor to senior leaders.
Understanding of digital learning, AI, and future capabilities.
Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an asset.

Responsibilities

Define and implement the Learning & Development vision and strategy.
Lead the Learning & Development team across the organization.
Drive innovation, technology and AI-enabled learning for the ecosystem.
Strengthen leadership and critical capabilities in collaboration with Global HRBP and métiers.
Ensure learning contributes to talent development and retention.
Use data and evidence to measure impact and inform decisions.
