Zusammenfassung

Oerlikon is seeking a Head of AI to drive enterprise-wide AI strategy, governance and transformation across business and IT. You will lead AI initiatives—agents, automation, and governance—while ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable adoption, reporting to the CIO.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field, global experience, English fluency (German advantageous), and a track record of delivering measurable business value through AI-driven change.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Information Technology or related field.
• Experience leading AI, digital, data or technology transformation initiatives in global environments.
• Strong knowledge of AI technologies, enterprise IT architectures, governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions delivering measurable value.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and change management across regions and functions.
• Strategic, innovative and results-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Shape and evolve Oerlikon’s enterprise AI strategy, governance, architecture, with digitalization teams.
• Establish AI policies, controls, and compliance frameworks for secure AI usage.
• Lead AI-driven transformation initiatives, including AI agents, autonomous workflows, and process automation.
• Oversee AI risk management, regulatory compliance, and data protection alignment.
• Define and track AI value metrics and KPIs to measure adoption and impact.
• Drive IT operations integration to improve productivity and automation.
• Manage strategic relationships with AI technology providers, partners and vendors.
• Foster AI awareness and capability building across the organization through training.
