Zusammenfassung

Swisslinx AG is seeking a Senior CAPEX Planner/Controller for a major pharmaceutical programme in Visp. You will own integrated project planning from design through commissioning and start-up, coordinating with PM, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning teams.

The role requires 5–10 years of scheduling experience on large CAPEX projects, strong Primavera P6 expertise, and fluent English with German preferred. Hybrid work includes four days on site in Visp and one day remote.

Qualifikationen

• 5–10 years of project planning/scheduling experience on large CAPEX projects.
• Pharma, client-side and EPCM project experience.
• Experience with CHF 20m+ projects from design through commissioning/start-up; exposure to CHF 300m+ mega-projects.
• Strong Primavera P6, MS Project and Excel skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules across all CAPEX project phases.
• Establish baseline schedules, milestones, schedule assumptions, and documentation for approval.
• Ensure schedules reflect scope, resources, dependencies and milestones.
• Support resource planning and resource-loaded scheduling as needed.
• Track progress against baselines; identify deviations and delays.
• Perform critical path and risk analyses to evaluate impacts.
• Develop mitigation and recovery strategies for delays.
• Maintain records of scope changes and schedule variances.
• Produce schedule reports, dashboards, forecasts, and metrics.
• Present schedule status and risks to teams and senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate planning workshops and scheduling sessions.
• Collaborate with PM, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning teams.
• Conduct regular schedule reviews to validate progress.

Join a major pharmaceutical CAPEX programme in Visp, taking ownership of integrated project planning and schedule control across complex, high-value investments from design through commissioning and start-up.

Job description:

• Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules across all CAPEX project phases, from concept design through commissioning and start-up.
• Establish baseline schedules, project milestones, schedule assumptions, and schedule basis documentation for stakeholder approval.
• Ensure schedules accurately reflect current project scope, resources, execution strategy, dependencies, and key milestones.
• Support resource planning and resource-loaded scheduling where required.
• Track project progress against approved baselines and identify schedule deviations, trends, and potential delays.
• Perform critical path and near-critical path analysis to evaluate schedule risk and project impacts.
• Develop mitigation and recovery strategies in response to delays or schedule performance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of scope changes, delays, trends, and schedule variances.
• Produce regular schedule reports, dashboards, forecasts, trend analysis, and performance metrics.
• Present schedule status, key risks, critical issues, and recovery plans to project teams and senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate planning workshops and interactive scheduling sessions.
• Collaborate closely with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning teams.
• Conduct regular schedule reviews to validate progress and forecast project completion.
• Ensure scheduling data remains accurate, reliable, and aligned with project controls standards and best practices.

A leading global life sciences organisation is expanding its major capital investment portfolio in Switzerland and is seeking an experienced Senior CAPEX Planner to support complex infrastructure and manufacturing projects. The business operates within highly regulated pharmaceutical and biotechnology environments, delivering large-scale engineering programmes across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up. Project teams work in multidisciplinary, international environments where schedule control, quality, safety, and delivery certainty are critical. This position offers exposure to significant CAPEX investments, including mega-projects exceeding CHF 300 million, and requires close collaboration with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project leadership teams. The role is based in Visp and follows a hybrid model of four days on site and one day working from home.

Requirements:

• 5–10 years’ project planning/scheduling experience on large CAPEX projects within pharma, biotech, chemical, or engineering environments.
• Pharma experience plus client-side and EPCM project experience.
• Experience with CHF 20m+ projects from design through commissioning/start-up, including exposure to CHF 300m+ mega-projects.
• Advanced Primavera P6, with strong MS Project and Excel skills.
• Experience in critical path analysis, schedule risk, progress measurement, forecasting, reporting, and change management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Business-fluent English; German preferred.
• Able to work 4 days per week on site in Visp.
