Zusammenfassung

GXP CONSULTING Switzerland is seeking an experienced procurement professional to own sourcing strategy for civil, structural and interior fit-out across CAPEX projects, bridging engineering design, project execution and contractor markets. The role delivers packages on time, on budget and compliant with GMP, EHS and construction standards.

You’ll lead end-to-end tendering, negotiate terms, monitor contractor performance and identify cost-saving opportunities through benchmarking and value

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction, or Business. A technical background is a strong plus.
• 10 to 15 years in procurement, category management or construction sourcing.
• German and English — both fluent, non-negotiable.
• Background in pharmaceutical or life sciences CAPEX environments.
• Hands-on experience sourcing CSA packages (civil, structural, buildings).
• Strong track record negotiating and managing complex, high-value contracts.
• Exposure to large-scale CAPEX projects — greenfield and/or brownfield.
• Comfortable navigating construction execution, engineering interfaces and the broader project lifecycle.
• Commercially sharp, strategic and analytical thinking.
• Deep familiarity with CAPEX and construction procurement dynamics.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder influence
• Ability to manage relationships across Engineering, Construction and Project functions

• Build and roll out sourcing strategies for civil, structural and interior fit-out packages.
• Own the end-to-end tendering process — from supplier shortlisting to contract award.
• Lead commercial negotiations, including contract terms, framework agreements and pricing models.
• Get involved early with Engineering, Construction and Project teams so procurement shapes design decisions rather than reacting to them.
• Manage relationships with strategic contractors and track their performance over time.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through benchmarking and value engineering.
• Anticipate and mitigate risks tied to construction execution — schedule slippage, cost overruns, HSE, and supply chain disruption.
• Keep every package aligned with GMP, EHS and construction regulatory requirements.
• Turn category-level strategy into concrete sourcing and execution plans for each project.
• Set up contractor performance monitoring and drive continuous improvement across the supply base

We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to own the sourcing strategy for construction packages : civil works, structural steel, and building fit-out across a portfolio of CAPEX investment projects.

You will be the link between engineering design, project execution, and the contractor market, making sure every package is delivered safely, on budget, on schedule, and fully compliant with industry standards.
