Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder Abschluss in IT oder gleichwertige Qualifikation.
• Berufserfahrung in Netzwerken, idealerweise Campus LAN.
• Fließendes Deutsch und gutes Englisch.

Aufgaben

• Installationen, Konfigurationen und Wartung von Campus LAN‑Umgebungen vor Ort beim Kunden.
• Kundenberatung und Unterstützung bei Planung und Umsetzung von Netzwerprojekten.
• Fehlersuche und Root-Cause-Analysen sowie technischer Support bei Netzwerkproblemen.
• Dokumentation der Arbeiten und Erstellung von Berichten für Stakeholder.

We are looking for a dedicated Campus LAN Engineer who enjoys maintaining and installing customer network infrastructures.

The ideal candidate is reliable, professional in appearance, and possesses solid expertise in the following areas:

Technical Expertise

• Cisco Switching: Experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Cisco switching environments.
• Meraki Access Points: Proficient in the configuration, deployment, and management of Meraki wireless access points to deliver reliable and high-performance WLAN networks.
• Security Know-how (Fortinet): Knowledge in configuring and managing FortiGate firewalls is an advantage.
• Certifications: A valid CCNA or CCNP certification is required to demonstrate technical competence and expertise in the mentioned areas.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform installations, configurations, and maintenance of Campus LAN environments on customer sites.
• Consult and support customers in planning and implementing network projects.
• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis, providing technical support for network issues.
• Document all completed work and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Profile

• Completed education or degree in IT or an equivalent qualification.
• Professional experience in networking, ideally within Campus LAN environments.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Strong communication skills and team spirit.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.
• Language skills: Fluent German and good English are required to communicate with international clients.
