Supports calibration, maintenance, and compliance activities for process instrumentation. Responsible for preparing, executing, and documenting calibration and preventive maintenance work, ensuring full compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, execute, and document calibration and preventive maintenance for process instrumentation
- Ensure compliance with GMP requirements, site procedures, and regulatory standards
- Support troubleshooting, diagnostics, and continuous improvement of instrumentation systems
- Coordinate maintenance activities through SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)
- Review calibration data/documentation for accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness
- Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams
- Contribute to investigations, change controls, and corrective/preventive actions
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on instrumentation/calibration experience - Pharma, Chemical, process industries, or Oil & Gas
- Proven GMP-regulated environment experience - mandatory
- Strong calibration documentation, execution, and compliance experience
- Technical education: Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Technology, or related field
- HF/FH qualification preferred; completed apprenticeship + significant relevant experience also considered
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Expert knowledge of CMX Calibration Software
- Strong understanding of GMP requirements and documentation practices
- Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical, CDMO, process, chemical, or oil & gas environments
Additional Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)
- Understanding of maintenance planning and work order management
- Familiarity with instrumentation lifecycle management and preventive maintenance programs
