EFG International in Lugano, Switzerland, seeks a motivated professional to execute BRM controls in the Private Banking area, documenting results and ensuring timely remediation. You will work with regional teams to strengthen the control environment and support risk management processes.

Ideal candidates have Economics background, strong data analysis skills, and experience with Python, SQL, R and Bloomberg Terminal. English, German, French and Italian are valued to collaborate across locations.

Qualifikationen

• Economics Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the related field.
• Experience in the Financial & Audit Industry, Risk Control domain, Compliance and Risk Management functions.
• Excellent data analysis and program languages (Python, SQL, R), Bloomberg Terminal.

• Execute all BRM controls in Private Banking area on a monthly and quarterly basis and ensure precise documentation of results.
• Prepare the CRO RSC and Quarterly Control report.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities

• Execute all BRM controls on Private Banking area on a monthly respectively quarterly basis and ensures precise and proper documentation of results


• Preparation of the CRO RSC and Quarterly Control report


• Ensure that the identified control non in compliance and related risk mitigating actions are timely remediated


• Contribution on preparation of the annual risk and control self-assessment (RSCA) as well as other ad hoc assessment & reviews.


• Work with the Regional and Global PB BRM to achieve a robust First Line of Defence in the Area


• Report on the internal control environment and potentially arising risks or issues.


• Collaborate with local Compliance teams, Ops Risk and auditors for any ad-hoc reviews

Skills And Experience

• Economics Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the related field


• Experience in the Financial & Audit Industry, Risk Control domain, Compliance and Risk Management functions


• Excellent data analysis and Program Languages (Python, SQL, R), Bloomberg Terminal


• Languages required: English, German, French and Italian


• Pro-active and clear communicator with strong organizational skills


• Detailed oriented, precise and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
