Job summary

Julius Baer in Zürich seeks a Business Manager to partner with sub-unit heads, drive operational and strategic initiatives, and ensure performance, risk management, and workforce development align with the bank's objectives.

You will own financial planning, cost control, and budgets, coordinate cross-functional projects, create compelling internal and client-facing collateral, and strengthen governance and SLAs to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in financial services, consulting, or a relevant business management role.
• Fluency in English; German or additional languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyse broad data sets and present actionable narratives.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Own financial planning, cost control, and budget tracking for the sub-unit; prepare executive reports and data-driven analyses.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives from concept to delivery; prepare business cases and track key projects.
• Develop and maintain internal and client-facing collateral, including intranet content and pitchbooks.
• Support audits, manage SLAs, governance frameworks, and risk reporting.
