Zusammenfassung

WSP is looking for a Business Controller in Zurich or Luzern to partner with managers and guide budget policy. You will monitor financial data, support ERP implementation, and drive analytical tools in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in finance, strong Excel and modelling skills, and fluency in German and English (French helpful). The role offers flexible and remote work options within Switzerland.

Qualifikationen

• At least 5 years of experience in a finance role within a project-driven environment.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
• Experience with Power BI and financial reporting tools (Hyperion, Dynamics 365, Oracle).
• Digital-savvy with AI awareness and continuous improvement mindset.
• Pragmatic, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced international setting.
• Fluent in German and English, with good French proficiency.

Due to significant commercial growth in this sector, WSP is looking to strengthen the expertise of its Finance department. We are currently seeking a Business Controller, in Zurich or Luzern.

YOUR NEW ROLE: WHAT’S INVOLVED?

As part of a dynamic team based in Lausanne and Zurich, you will assist the Finance Director – Business Operations in guiding and monitoring budgetary policy, and position yourself as a Business Partner for our managers. You will be based in our Zurich or Luzern office.

Your core activities include:

• Analyse and present reports in English, German and French if possible
• Manage the budget process with your internal clients
• Monitor and analyse the economic and financial data for the units and projects
• Propose and follow up on any corrective actions that may need to be taken
• Implement analytical tools to support the Finance Director in his decision-making
• Support the finance team in the implementation of our new ERP

WHAT IF IT WAS YOU?

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a finance role within a project-driven environment
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Experience with Power BI, and financial reporting tools (Hyperion, Dynamics 365, Oracle)
• Digital‑savvy, with a flair for AI and a continuous improvement mindset
• Pragmatic and flexible and enjoy working in a fast‑paced, international environment
• Ability to combine financial expertise with a strong understanding of business operations
• Proactive, analytical, and hands‑on approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making
• Fluent in German (or Swiss German) and English, with a good command of French
