Zusammenfassung

TotalEnergies Trading is seeking a Business Analyst Finance to bridge finance users and software teams across our IDS Shared Services. You will gather requirements, manage backlogs, define roadmaps, and ensure alignment with the ETRM system in a fast-paced, international environment.

With a Master’s in Information Systems/Finance and at least 6 years in BA/PO/PM roles, you will translate needs for development, support QA testing, and drive process improvements.

Qualifikationen

  • Master's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Project Manager or Software Developer in a complex environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Finance processes, accounting principles, internal controls, treasury.
  • Previous experience in commodity trading, financial services or energy markets would be considered a strong asset.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and managing product backlogs.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French.

Aufgaben

  • Collect user feedback and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure non-regression of existing functionalities.
  • Coordinate and lead projects related to Finance applications and processes.
  • Define project roadmaps, priorities and delivery milestones.
  • Monitor project progress against quality, scope and timeline objectives.
  • Assess risks and propose mitigation plans and alternative solutions.
  • Contribute to change management activities and adoption of new functionalities.
  • Provide functional support to users and investigate application issues.
  • Define and deliver user training sessions when required.
  • Produce and maintain user documentation.
  • Communicate project status, key achievements, risks and improvement opportunities to management and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on the implementation of new solutions and enhancements.
  • Ensure the consistency of the business requirements with the overall ETRM system.

In a context of rapid changes in the business scope, particularly in the field of renewable energies, strong competition, the business demands on Information Systems and Digital are extremely high. These last are one of the cornerstones of the overall performance of Tradings . Without reliable Information Systems, scalable and efficient and a Digital laboratory providing ever more innovative tools, there is no trading.

We are looking to enhance our IDS Shared Servicesteam to support the growth of our trading activities (T&S and TGP ), and therefore expand new Business applications.
The IDS Shared Servicesteam is part of the Information and Digital Systems (IDS) department, which is a mutualized function for trading activities.
Reporting to the Team Leader Shared services, you will be participatingin the international deployment and maintenance across three geographic sites and oversee the coordination of a team of development service providers for three branches with multiple locations.

You will evolve in a fast-paced and international environment, and you will have the chance to work with passionate people about what they do and who are never short in ideas.

Activities

The business analyst is at the interface between the users and the software development teams. He ensures the quality and the full adequacy of the software with the business requirements and proprieties, and provides support to the business.

As our Business Analyst Finance, you will be given the following responsibilities:

Business Vision & Product Ownership
  • Gather, analyze and challenge business requirements from Finance and Shared Services stakeholders
  • Define, maintain and prioritize the application backlog according to business priorities
  • Define release roadmaps and contribute to the strategic vision of future developments
  • Ensure consistency between business requirements and the overall application landscape
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and system improvements
Requirements Management
  • Collect, document and prioritize functional requirements and user stories
  • Translate business needs into clear and detailed specifications for development teams
  • Support development teams by answering functional questions and providing business context
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between business and technical stakeholders
  • Participate in defining the most appropriate functional and technical solutions
Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Design and execute functional, integration, regressionand user acceptance tests

Candidate Profile
  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Project Manager or Software Developer in a complex business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Finance processes, accounting principles, internal controls, treasury.
  • Previousexperience in commodity trading, financial services or energy markets would be considered a strong asset.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and managing product backlogs.
  • You havestrong communicationskills and teamwork spirit.
  • Comfortable challenging requirements and driving discussions with multiple stakeholders.
  • You are autonomous, proactive and customer-service oriented.
  • You have strong communications skills in English and French
