Collège Alpin Beau Soleil in Villars-sur-Ollon is seeking a caring Boarding Assistant to join our international community for an immediate start. As part of the house team, you will support students, help with studies and activities, and assist with weekend programmes and evening supervision.

The role includes accommodation, meals in term time, health insurance, and a ski season pass. Contract runs 10 months from September 2026 to June 2027 with a full-time schedule and on-site duties at the

• English native speaker or high level of English comprehension. Good level of French is helpful but not essential.
• Good IT skills.

Aufgaben

• Working with HM and DHM to ensure the successful running of the house to provide the best possible care and experience for the students.
• Getting to know the students in the house and supporting them as individuals.
• Being an active, dynamic and positive presence in the house during the day and evening.
• Assisting with house administration as required.
• Extensive involvement in the weekend programme.
• 6-8 lessons a week supporting in lessons.
• Supporting two activities or sports teams across the year.
• Overnight supervision in the Boarding House.
• Helping at La Sionnaire during the Winter season.
• Study supervision.
• Working alongside the Health Centre team to provide support and take students to doctors/dental appointments.
• Reception duties.
• Airport transfers.
• Attend weekly Training and Support Meetings.
• Any other duties which may be required from time to time by the School.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Boarding Assistant to join our community for an immediate start. Working closely with the Housemaster/mistress (HM) and Deputy Housemaster/mistress (DHM), you will help foster a warm and supportive atmosphere — a true home away from home where students feel comfortable, respected and motivated to reach their full potential. As a constant presence in the house, you will play an essential role in the daily life of our students — offering guidance, encouragement and a listening ear. Whether you are helping with studies, joining in evening activities or simply sharing everyday moments, your contribution will help make boarding life both meaningful and memorable. This residential position offers a unique opportunity to become part of a vibrant international community and to gain valuable experience in pastoral care, education and youth development. EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualified to degree level

EXPERIENCE

• Experience of working with young people in a residential setting is helpful but not essential

WHAT WE OFFER

• A 10-month fixed contract, from September 2026 to June 2027, for an immediate start
• Accommodation is included for the duration of your contract (subject to social charges)
• Food is included during term time (subject to social charges)
• Basic health insurance (Lamal) is provided and paid for by the College
• Full season ski pass and equipment hire provided
