Roche is seeking a Biomarker Experimental Medicine Leader (BEML) to drive end-to-end translational biomarker strategies across preclinical and clinical drug development in Ophthalmology. You will lead a cross-functional Biomarker Expert Team and shape program decisions with external collaborators to advance patient-centric endpoints.
Ideal candidates hold a PhD or MD with 7+ years of research/industry experience, including 3+ years in biomarker work.

The Ophthalmology unit of Roche is rapidly growing and innovating and therefore offers the position of a Biomarker Experimental Medicine Leader (BEML).
We are offering the opportunity to join our Ophthalmology biomarker team. Currently, we are a team of six biomarker leaders with different backgrounds in biochemistry, cell‑biology, molecular biology, experimental ophthalmology and drug development that we apply to diseases like age‑related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye disease, and others.
We are looking for a biomarker expert with strong experience in translational science that can complement our team as an individual contributor and matrix team leader.
