Job summary

Swisslinx AG in Zug seeks an experienced Operator (Biofuel) to manage all operational aspects of biofuels and jet fuel cargoes from confirmation to delivery and settlement. You will coordinate multimodal logistics, including vessels, terminals, rail cars, and related transport, ensuring timely execution of physical trades.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations for biofuels or jet fuels.
• Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, incoterms, and trading documentation.
• Ability to delegate and coordinate within a team over time.
• Commercial awareness and ability to assess operational impact on trading decisions.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all operational aspects of biofuels and jet fuel cargoes from deal confirmation to final delivery and settlement.
• Coordinate multimodal logistics across vessels, terminals, rail tank cars, and other transport modes.
• Handle shipping activities including vessel nominations, terminal coordination, loading and discharge operations, and documentation.
• Coordinate nomination, scheduling, loading, tracking, and delivery of rail tank cars where applicable.
• Develop and maintain operational plans and schedules for timely execution of physical trades.
• Act as senior reference in Operations, delegating tasks and coordinating with colleagues.
• Monitor execution, anticipate delays or risks, and take proactive measures to meet delivery commitments.
