Job summary

Collège du Léman in Switzerland seeks a Learning Support Teacher to provide flexible, targeted interventions across year groups. You will collaborate with classroom teachers, school leaders, parents, and external professionals to align strategies with student needs and integrate interventions into regular classroom practice.

The role involves planning, observing, mentoring staff, and maintaining records, with a focus on literacy, numeracy and language support for students with learning

Qualifications

• BA/BSc with QTS or PGCE in Special Education or CAPSAIS/CAPA-SH is required.
• Experience with Preschool/Primary students with learning differences valued.
• Commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver targeted interventions to develop literacy, numeracy and language.
• Provide in-class support or small group pull-outs.
• Offer 1:1 support for students with significant learning differences.
• Observe and evaluate students; communicate with parents and staff.
• Mentor assistants and support staff; participate in workshops.
• Maintain records and attend meetings.
