Threema, the world’s best-selling secure messenger, seeks a Communication Manager (80%) to cover maternity leave in Pfäffikon SZ starting Oct 1, 2026, through Mar 31, 2027. You will craft German/English content, edit translations, and oversee our blog, FAQs, and public channels.

Qualifikationen

• Completed degree or professional education in communication, PR, or journalism, or professional experience in a communication role.
• Strong feel for language, excellent spelling and grammar, and patience to refine text until every word is right.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly and accessibly.
• Ability to work within guidelines while contributing creative ideas.
• Excellent German and very good English; French/Spanish are a plus.
• Reliable, passionate team player.

Aufgaben

• Write a wide range of texts in German and English with a strong sense of style and audience focus.
• Edit and proofread German texts, and translate into English with high accuracy.
• Own content areas such as our blog and FAQs.
• Manage public communication channels: blog, X, Mastodon, Bluesky, Reddit, newsletters, press lists.
• Coordinate translation of content into French and Spanish.
• Support PR activities and maintain external stakeholder relationships.
