Zusammenfassung

Enshift AG in Baar, Switzerland, is seeking a BESS Project Engineer to analyze energy data, support AI-based price and energy forecasts, and deliver actionable insights from operational and financial performance.

You will manage battery projects from assessment to contracting, develop sizing concepts, and coordinate with customers, utilities and internal teams in a fast-growing international environment.

Qualifikationen

• Technical university degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering or related field.
• Experience in renewable energy, electrical infrastructure or energy storage projects.
• Understanding of electrical systems, grid connections and project delivery.
• Experience with BESS, EMS integration or commissioning is advantageous.
• Fluent German and English; French or Italian would be an advantage.
• Structured and proactive personality with a strong sense of ownership.
• Resilience and flexibility in a fast-growing, international environment.

Aufgaben

• Assess and document battery potential across Enshift's project pipeline.
• Carry out technical and commercial feasibility studies for BESS projects.
• Develop battery sizing, installation, grid-connection and operating concepts.
• Manage battery projects from initial assessment through contracting, technical planning, execution and commissioning.
• Define requirements and support the selection of BESS, EMS and medium-voltage station solutions.
• Coordinate customers, utilities, authorities, suppliers, installers and internal project teams.
• Establish repeatable processes and standards for developing and delivering battery projects.

To strengthen our Operations team, we are looking for an BESS Project Engineer who will contribute to the analysis of energy data, support the development of AI-based price and energy forecasts, and generate actionable insights through the analysis of operational and financial performance. Requirements

• Experience with BESS, medium-voltage systems, EMS integration or project commissioning is an advantage.
• Fluent German and English; French or Italian would be an advantage.
