Viking seeks a Manager VAT to lead indirect tax across the group, based at our Basel HQ in Switzerland. You will advise business units, monitor VAT legislation and drive the period end close in collaboration with the finance team.
Ideal candidates are Certified Swiss tax experts with strong VAT knowledge in Europe and internationally, fluent in German and English, capable of independent work and cross-functional collaboration with auditors and external advisors.

The Manager VAT will be part of the VAT team responsible for managing the indirect tax position of the group in different countries, including overseeing the compliance and reporting delivery and identifying new requirements, with a strong focus on VAT.
Additionally, you will partner with the finance teams to administer the period end close process. You will become a pivotal member of the tax team and work collaboratively with the VAT team and the VP Tax on a variety of ad-hoc projects whilst promoting awareness across the business. The Manager VAT reports directly to the VP Tax.
