Zusammenfassung

Avantor is seeking a motivated Sample Management Technician (f/m/d) in Basel to handle customer chemical samples, ensure their proper administration and storage. This permanent, full-time role is based at a pharma customer site in Basel, with a base salary, regulated working hours, annual bonus, training opportunities and a company pension scheme.

Working hours are Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00 with start times between 06:00–09:00. Fluency in English is required; German is an advantage.

Qualifikationen

• Completed Degree in Chemistry or Biology (EFZ, Bachelor's).
• First hands-on experience with managing chemical samples.
• Knowledge of GMP/GxP rules would be an asset.
• Good IT user knowledge of Excel and LIMS is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Manage samples in the internal database and adjust data as necessary.
• Book received chemical samples according to specifications (GMP, non‑GMP, stability samples).
• Manage samples under different storage conditions.
• Issue and receive samples to and from the customer.
• Disposal of samples according to guidelines.
• Communicate with customers/sample owners regarding disposals and queries.
