Zusammenfassung

Novartis is seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Technician to join the Process Development team in Basel on a temporary/contract basis through Magnit Global. You will contribute to chemical process development, scale-up activities, and manufacturing support, while collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.

Key responsibilities include conducting synthesis experiments, data generation, and ensuring compliant electronic records. German and English language proficiency are required.

Qualifikationen

• Completed apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician or equivalent scientific qualification.
• Practical experience in synthetic chemistry with a passion for laboratory work.
• Strong hands-on experience with chemical synthesis and process development activities.
• Experience supporting or participating in the scale-up of chemical reactions and processes.
• Excellent understanding of laboratory safety standards and HSE requirements.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Perform chemical synthesis experiments safely and efficiently in alignment with project objectives and timelines.
• Support process development activities through execution, observation, and data collection.
• Collaborate with Process Chemists to design experiments, evaluate results, and propose next steps.
• Maintain compliant electronic laboratory records (eLN) and documentation per Good Documentation Practices.
