Zusammenfassung

Andermatt Swiss Alps AG is seeking a hospitality professional for front-of-house and bar operations in Switzerland. You will serve wine and bar drinks, prepare simple foods, and manage mise en place as well as opening and closing procedures.

You will operate the till, uphold hygiene and HACCP standards, handle goods receiving and stock control, and assist with tastings and events. German and English are required, with an independent and team-oriented approach.

Qualifikationen

• Two years’ experience in front-of-house or bar operations.
• Knowledge of wine and experience with smaller events an advantage.
• Independent, organised and meticulous approach; ability to work under pressure.

Aufgaben

• Serve wine, bar drinks and simple food items to guests.
• Prepare and maintain mise en place; manage opening and closing procedures.
• Operate the till system and handle transactions.
• Ensure hygiene and HACCP standards are followed.
• Receive goods, restock and perform stock control.
• Assist with tastings and events; support colleagues as needed.

• Serving and selling wine, classic bar drinks and bottles to take away
• Preparing and serving a simple range of food
• Mise en place, as well as opening and closing procedures
• Operating the till system
• Complying with hygiene and HACCP standards
• Receiving goods, restocking and stock control
• Assisting with tastings and events
• Where required, you’ll support your colleagues at Biselli, Nooba or The Swiss House.

What you bring in

• Completed training in catering, the restaurant trade, the hotel industry or bar work is an advantage – experienced candidates from other sectors are also welcome.
• At least two years’ experience in front-of-house or bar operations. Knowledge of wine and experience with smaller events are an advantage.
• An interest in wine and a passion for providing straightforward advice
• An independent, organised and meticulous approach to work
• The ability to work well under pressure and a team-oriented attitude
• Good command of German and English
