Job summary

Swissquote, Switzerland's leading digital bank, invites you to join the Legal Department as a Legal Trainee for a 10-month period. You will work with seasoned professionals on banking and financial law, contract drafting and negotiation, dispute resolution, regulatory matters and innovative banking projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and Master of Law in Swiss law.
• Excellent command of English and French; working knowledge of German.
• Self-motivated, proactive and eager to learn.
• Interest in banking, financial markets, fintech and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support in managing disputes, complaints and litigation matters, including legal research and document preparation.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contracts and legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on banking law, financial regulations and other topics relevant to the Bank.
• Support regulatory monitoring and analysis of legal developments affecting the Bank.
• Assist drafting and reviewing internal policies, procedures and governance documents.
• Provide general support to the Legal Department in day-to-day activities.
