Swisslinx in Basel, Switzerland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products for a modern data platform. You will build ETL/ELT solutions for data warehouse, data lake and lakehouse environments and collaborate with business analysts to translate needs into technical solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Substantial experience in data engineering, big data or analytics engineering (5+ years).
• Strong skills designing data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Experience with Spark, Flink, Kafka, Iceberg or similar.
• Familiar with Hadoop ecosystem tools (Hive, HBase, Impala).
• Proficient in Python, Java or C#.
• Solid understanding of data modelling, scalable systems and data architecture.
• Strong SQL and experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Experience in investment banking or financial services is a plus.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical teams.
• Fluency in English.
