Responsibilities

• Teach students to play brass, woodwinds, percussion, and strings with proper technique and feedback.
• Introduce notation, scales, chords, and rhythm to develop musicianship.
• Lead rehearsals and performances, select repertoire, and ensure cohesive sections.
• Organize concerts, events, and competitions, coordinating logistics and rehearsals.
• Provide individualized instruction and guidance for advanced musical goals.
• Teach styles and cultural context of music; foster appreciation.
• Collaborate with music educators, administrators, and parents to support the program.
• Oversee instrument maintenance and repairs for safe use.
