Job summary

Boschung Mecatronic AG in Switzerland seeks an experienced Software Engineer to drive backend development, microservices, and database design for intelligent infrastructure platforms. You will contribute to cloud-native solutions and AI-assisted workflows while collaborating across IT teams.

You will participate in cross-functional code reviews, including React frontend assessments, to ensure high quality and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java 8+ and Spring/Spring Boot background.
• Database design with PostgreSQL/MySQL and Cassandra.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, RabbitMQ and MQTT.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools in software workflows.
• Fluent in French; good English; German is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into software is an asset.

• Conception and development of microservices.

• Definition and implementation of tests.
