RUAG SA in Switzerland is seeking a skilled technician to maintain and service military jets. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and functional checks, including avionics and electrical systems, in accordance with technical documentation.

The role requires EFZ/CFC in a technical field, strong interest in aviation, English at B1/B2 level, and fluency in French or German. A category B driving licence and ability to work in shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• EFZ/CFC in a technical or electrical field is required.
• Interest in or experience with aviation and complex technical systems.
• Advanced English skills (B1/B2) are a prerequisite.
• Proficiency in French or German; additional language is a plus.
• Category B driving licence is required.
• Resilient, team-based mindset with responsibility and shift-work flexibility.
• Swiss citizenship/nationality is a strict requirement for working on a military base.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on military jets.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance, inspections, and functional checks including avionics testing.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems.
• Execute technical modifications and change orders.
• Prepare aircraft and support return-to-service activities.
• Ensure traceability and maintain maintenance documentation.
• Participate in internal avionics training related to safety and quality.
