Job summary

RUAG Inc. in Switzerland is seeking a skilled aviation maintenance technician to work on military jets.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and avionics testing as part of a highly regulated environment. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems, implementing technical modifications, and ensuring complete traceability of all work.

Qualifications

EFZ/CFC in a technical or electrical field (e.g. automation technician, electronics technician, diagnostics specialist)
Advanced English skills (Level B1/B2)
French or German language proficiency; second national language is a plus
Category B driving licence
Swiss citizenship/nationality is required for working on a military base

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on military jets
Carry out scheduled maintenance, inspections, and functional checks including testing avionics and electrical systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems
Execute technical modifications and change orders
Prepare aircraft and return-to-service activities
Maintain maintenance documentation and traceability
Participate in internal avionics training courses on safety and quality
