Job summary

Jet Aviation Inc. is seeking a dedicated Aircraft Engine Mechanic to ensure our fleet’s engines and APUs are maintained to the highest standards.

The role involves on-wing and off-wing tasks, including disassembly, borescope inspections, and modifications, with a strong emphasis on documentation and compliance. The ideal candidate has a mechanical aviation apprenticeship, 5+ years in aviation, a B1 license (S license preferred), and fluency in English and German and/or French.

Qualifications

• Mechanical apprenticeship in aviation preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in aviation industry; engines BR710/BR700/BR725 asset.
• B1 maintenance license is a must; S Licence preferred.
• High quality and safety standards oriented.
• Fluent in English, German and/or French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on engines and APUs, including replacements, borescope inspections, assembly/disassembly, modifications, hot section inspections/overhaul, and troubleshooting (on-wing and off-wing).
• Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace using 5S principles; ensure tools and equipment are stored properly.
