Aufgaben

• Develop, configure, and enhance Avaloq Core Banking solutions in line with business and regulatory requirements.
• Analyse functional specifications and translate them into technical designs and high-quality code.
• Work on Avaloq modules such as accounts, payments, securities, lending, CRM, interfaces, or reporting.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Avaloq and surrounding banking applications.
• Perform unit testing, support system and user-acceptance testing, and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testers, and operational teams in an Agile delivery environment.
• Contribute to release planning, deployment activities, documentation, and continuous platform improvement.
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, auditability, and compliance standards expected in a Swiss banking environment.

We’re hiring an Avaloq Developer to design, develop, and maintain solutions within a leading core banking platform. You will work closely with business, operations, and IT teams to translate banking requirements into reliable, scalable, and compliant Avaloq solutions. This role suits someone with strong Avaloq technical expertise and a solid understanding of private banking, wealth management, or financial-services processes.

• Develop, configure, and enhance Avaloq Core Banking solutions in line with business and regulatory requirements
• Analyse functional specifications and translate them into technical designs and high-quality code
• Work on Avaloq modules such as accounts, payments, securities, lending, CRM, interfaces, or reporting, depending on project needs
• Develop and maintain integrations between Avaloq and surrounding banking applications
• Perform unit testing, support system and user-acceptance testing, and resolve production issues
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testers, and operational teams in an Agile delivery environment
• Contribute to release planning, deployment activities, documentation, and continuous platform improvement
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, auditability, and compliance standards expected in a Swiss banking environment
• 3+ years of hands-on Avaloq development experience, ideally within banking or financial services
• Proven experience delivering enhancements, change requests, migration activities, or production support on Avaloq platforms
• Good understanding of core banking processes, particularly in private banking, wealth management, retail banking, or securities operations
• Experience working in regulated environments and with multiple business stakeholders
• Strong experience with Avaloq Script, Avaloq development tools, and the Avaloq platform architecture
• Knowledge of Oracle SQL and relational databases; PL/SQL experience is highly valued
• Experience with interfaces and integration technologies, such as APIs, messaging, batch processing, or file-based integrations
• Familiarity with Java, XML, Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices is an advantage
• Understanding of software-development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and release-management processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with international, cross-functional teams
• Clear communicator able to discuss technical topics with both IT and business stakeholders
• Structured, quality-focused approach, with a strong awareness of confidentiality and data protection
• University degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field
• Fluent English and French are mandatory.
