ANAVIA, a Swiss aerospace company, seeks a Flight Control Software Engineer to design, integrate, and test flight control software for unmanned helicopter systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop reliable, high-performing software and ensure compliance with aviation standards.

The role requires model-based development experience (preferably with Simulink), strong knowledge of flight dynamics, and the ability to produce comprehensive documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Experience with model-based development, ideally in aviation/aerospace.
• Experience programming in C or similar language is advantageous.
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing is a plus.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical matters in documentation and reports.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, implement, and test model-based flight control software for unmanned helicopter systems.
• Verify and validate features using a comprehensive simulation framework for reliability and safety.
• Contribute to technical documentation and training materials describing flight control logic and system behavior.
• Design and implement safe autonomous flight sequences meeting customer requirements and aviation standards.
• Collaborate with systems, avionics, flight operations, and design engineers to advance platform capabilities.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and integrate best practices into software processes.
