Job summary

K-Recruiting GmbH is seeking an Automation Technician OT (M/F/D) to provide technical support for the OT infrastructure and collaborate with cross-functional teams in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The role focuses on implementing change requests, preparing and reviewing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance within GMP environments.

The candidate should have an Industrial IT/Automation OT background, experience in patch management, OPC UA data handling, and strong French (business fluent)

Qualifications

• Industrial IT/Automation OT degree or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical/chemical/food industry.
• GMP environment knowledge and change management/validation process.
• Good experience with Microsoft tools.
• Experience with patching processes (Windows & applications updates, testing).
• Experience with data management and OPC UA.
• Experience in writing functional and design specifications.
• Dynamic and team-spirited; autonomous work style.
• Willingness to learn and share skills; methodical and rigorous problem-solving.
• French (business fluent) and English (technical skills).
• Plus: cybersecurity management; networks and industrial networks; Linux; OT software/tools (SCADA/HMI, protocols); databases (Oracle, MS SQL).

Automation Technician OT (M/F/D)

Tasks

• Providing technical support for the OT infrastructure
• Working with multi-disciplinary teams
• Working closely with the Change Control owner to implement requirements
• Preparing the final technical documentation
• Review and approval of documentation
• Challenge oriented, able to work autonomously
• Providing support in case of audits

Qualification

• Industrial IT/Automation OT degree (CFC or ES Technician) or equivalent
• Preferably 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical/chemical/ food industry
• Knowledge of GMP environment and required change management/validation process
• Good experience with the Microsoft tools
• Experience with patching processes (Windows & Application updates, including assessment and testing)
• Experience with Data management and layers (OPC UA)
• Experience in writing functional and design specifications
• Dynamic and willing character with a strong team spirit
• Technical curiosity and ability to learn and share skills
• Methodical and rigorous in work with an ability to analyse / solve problems
• French (business fluent) and English (technical skills)
• A plus would be:
  • Experience with cybersecurity management
  • Experience with networks (routing, subnets, VLANs, firewall rules, ...) and industrial networks (Ethernet IP)
  • Experience with Linux (OS & applications updates and support)
  • Knowledge of Automation OT software and tools (SCADA, HMI, communication protocols)
  • Knowledge of databases management and rules (Oracle and MS SQL)
