Job summary

Progressive is seeking an Automation OT Technician (French speaking) in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The role supports Operational Technology activities in a regulated industrial setting, coordinating technical tasks and investigating issues with a focus on GMP compliance.

Fluent French and strong technical proficiency in OT/Industrial IT are required. Experience with patch management, OPC UA, SCADA/HMI, and database systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Industrial IT / Automation OT degree (CFC or ES Technician) or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in pharma/chemical/food industry preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP environments and change management/validation processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft tools.
• Experience with patching processes, Windows and application updates, assessment and testing.
• Experience with data management and communication layers (OPC UA).
• Experience in writing functional and design specifications.
• Strong teamwork, curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Methodical and rigorous approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge and use of standard IT tools.

Automation OT Technician (French Speaking)

The Automation OT Technician is responsible for supporting Operational Technology (OT) activities, coordinating technical tasks, and investigating issues within a regulated industrial environment.

Key Requirements:

• Industrial IT / Automation OT degree (CFC or ES Technician) or equivalent.
• Preferably 2-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or food industry.
• Knowledge of GMP environments and required change management and validation processes.
• Good experience with Microsoft tools.
• Experience with patching processes, including Windows and application updates, assessment, and testing.
• Experience with data management and communication layers (OPC UA).
• Experience in writing functional and design specifications.
• Dynamic and motivated personality with a strong team spirit.
• Technical curiosity and the ability to learn and share knowledge.
• Methodical and rigorous approach to work with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge and use of standard IT tools.
