Zusammenfassung

Ansaldo Energia in Baden, Switzerland is seeking an Automation & Control System Engineer. Your focus is to design, configure and execute control systems for gas turbines, emphasizing hardware specification, engineering and integration in collaboration with system suppliers.

You will prepare specifications, tune field loops, support design and commissioning documentation, configure control systems to project needs and oversee supplier activities to ensure quality, time and cost targets while

Qualifikationen

• Degree in electrical or automation engineering (required).
• At least 5 years of experience designing & executing control & automation systems for power or process plants.
• Acquaintance with industrial automation products & components.
• Expertise in I&C loop and bus network design.
• Familiarity with applicable codes and standards.
• Proficiency with integrated planning & engineering tools (preferably EPLAN).
• Knowledge of functional safety and cyber-security is a plus.
• Strong commitment to delivering on time and within budget.
• Very good English; German and Italian are an asset.

As one of the world\u2019s leading players in the sector of power generation plants and components Ansaldo Energia is a full-cycle integrated operator with the capabilities to build turnkey power plants on green field sites - using its own technology and its own independent design, production, construction, commissioning & service resources. Strengthen our team in Switzerland (Baden) with your expertise & experience as our Automation & Control System Engineer Your main responsibility is to design, configure and execute control systems for gas turbines. Your focus will be on hardware specification, engineering and integration, in coordination and cooperation with system suppliers.

Your tasks

• Prepare specifications for gas turbine control systems and components
• Establish and maintain design rules in compliance with technical requirements and applicable codes & standards
• Engineer field loops for sensors and actuators
• Initiate and support the preparation of design, manufacturing and commissioning documentation
• Configure and customize the gas turbine control system according to project requirements
• Facilitate procurement activities and supplier selection with technical expertise
• Support and supervise suppliers during project execution
• Specify and conduct factory acceptance tests
• Provide troubleshooting assistance during erection and commissioning
• Conduct hand-over to service organization.

Your profile
