Zusammenfassung

Sonova seeks a skilled researcher to translate product needs into algorithmic specifications for audiological functionalities within the EXAM model. You will develop algorithms, analyze big data, and verify results in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Advanced degree in physics/engineering is preferred, fluent English required, German desirable. The role offers a hybrid work model in Switzerland and opportunities for training and publications.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in modelling complex relationships and applying statistical methods.
• Knowledge of Python, MATLAB and OO software development.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development is a plus.

In this versatile position within our Research and Development department, you will translate the product needs into algorithmic specifications for various audiological functionalities within Sonova-s executable audiological model, -EXAM.- These functionalities enable hearing aids to be optimally fitted to customers- individual needs.

• Develop audiological algorithms, models and software prototypes in our executable audiological model (EXAM)
• Based on study outcomes propose algorithmic changes of audiological functionalities
• Conduct measurements and evaluate the results
• Analyze big data
• Verify implemented functionalities
• Support Marketing with product launches and the preparation of publications

More about you

• University degree in a scientific or technical discipline, such as Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar, PhD is an advantage
• Experience in modelling complex relationships and applying statistical methods, as well as knowledge of Python, MATLAB and object-oriented software development
• Experience with and interest in AI-assisted software development
• Knowledge of psychoacoustics, electroacoustics or signal processing is an advantage
• Proactive, goal- and solution-oriented personality with strong systems-thinking skills
• Enthusiasm for working in an interdisciplinary team
• Fluent English skills are mandatory; German language skills are highly desirable
