Zusammenfassung

Sonova in Switzerland seeks a research-driven professional to translate product needs into algorithmic specifications for audiological functionalities within the EXAM model. You will develop algorithms and prototypes, propose improvements from study outcomes and verify results.

Engagement includes analyzing big data, supporting product launches and publications, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in a flexible hybrid setup. Fluency in English is essential; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in a scientific or technical discipline; PhD is a plus.
• Experience in modelling complex relationships and applying statistics.
• Familiarity with Python, MATLAB and object-oriented software development.
• Interest in AI-assisted software development.
• Knowledge of psychoacoustics, electroacoustics or signal processing is a plus.
• Fluent English; German is desirable.

In this versatile position within our Research and Development department, you will translate the product needs into algorithmic specifications for various audiological functionalities within Sonova's executable audiological model, "EXAM". These functionalities enable hearing aids to be optimally fitted to customers' individual needs.

More about you

• University degree in a scientific or technical discipline, such as Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar, PhD is an advantage
• Experience in modelling complex relationships and applying statistical methods, as well as knowledge of Python, MATLAB and object-oriented software development
• Experience with and interest in AI-assisted software development
• Knowledge of psychoacoustics, electroacoustics or signal processing is an advantage
• Proactive, goal- and solution-oriented personality with strong systems-thinking skills
• Enthusiasm for working in an interdisciplinary team
• Fluent English skills are mandatory; German language skills are highly desirable
