Zusammenfassung

PwC Switzerland is seeking a data-driven professional to collaborate with clients across Pharma & Life Sciences, Financial Services, Retail & Consumer, Industrial Manufacturing, and Public Services to design and deliver data engineering, analytics and automation solutions.

You will translate client data into actionable insights, develop end-to-end pipelines on Azure, GCP, or AWS, and contribute to digitization efforts while traveling within Switzerland and internationally as needed.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in business informatics, computer science, physics, mathematics, or any engineering discipline preferred.
• Initial work experience in data engineering, data science, visualization, or analytics (including thesis work) adds value.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL or similar is required.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, GCP, AWS or Databricks is essential.
• Fluency in English and German; willingness to travel within Switzerland and internationally.

• Collaborate with your team to deliver high-impact projects and engage with senior stakeholders from high-profile clients in industries such as Pharma & Life Sciences, Financial Services, Retail & Consumer, Industrial Manufacturing, and Public Services.


• Empower your clients to innovatively leverage their data by proposing and developing the most suitable data-driven solutions according to the clients' needs and the availability/properties of their data.


• Assist your clients in advancing digitization with data pipelines and analyzes of various data sources. The projects you are working on include the technical and analytical development of end-to-end data engineering, analytics, and automation solutions.


• Challenge the status quo, seek the information you need, understand the challenge at hand, and devise creative and simple solutions.


• Implement and continue learning best practices in technology, data engineering, analytics, and consulting approaches

Your Skill Set

• A university degree in fields such as business informatics, computer science, physics, mathematics, or any engineering discipline is preferred.


• Initial work experience in data engineering, data science, visualization, or analytics (including thesis work) adds value.


• Proficiency in multiple programming languages like Python, R, SQL, or similar is required.


• Hands-on experience with Azure, GCP, AWS, or DataBricks is essential.


• Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills, coupled with a proactive attitude towards delivering client value, are vital.


• Fluency in English and German and a willingness to travel within Switzerland, and occasionally internationally, are necessary.
